POSITION SUMMARY
IMMEDIATE OPENING!! We are seeking a motivated Legal Intern to assist our legal team with research, drafting legal documents, and special projects. This is for Fall 24 and Spring 25, working 20 hours a week and is an excellent opportunity for a law student or recent graduate to gain practical experience and insight into various legal processes in a fast-paced in-house legal environment and is remote.
CORE FUNCTIONS
- Conduct legal research on various laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents such as contracts, non-disclosure agreements and memoranda.
- Support attorneys in preparing legal presentations and other legal projects.
- Attend meetings with clients, attorneys, and external partners, as required.
- Monitor legal trends, changes in the industry, legislative and regulatory developments relevant to the business.
- Assist in preparing reports and documents related to the foregoing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & R EQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
- Current law student (JD or LLM) or recent law graduate.
- Strong interest in corporate, commercial, sales, marketing, procurement, engineering, manufacturing and procurement
- Strong interest in the automotive accessories industry

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- This position is subject to sedentary work; Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involved sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.

Visual Acuity
- The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
