Job Description

 
Clark Hill PLC is seeking to hire a Benefits Manager to be located in the Pittsburgh or Detroit office.  This position is responsible for (i) working with firm leadership to develop and implement a benefits  strategy which aligns with firm objectives; (ii) maintaining high-quality and cost-effective management of the firm’s health, welfare and retirement benefit programs, including employee education and design initiatives with a focus on quality, high service, cost and compliance; (iii) ensuring benefit plans comply with all regulations, including acting in response to new/changing laws and ensuring plan documents and SPD’s are updated; and (iv) assuring plans are administered according to the plan documents and governmental regulations. The successful candidate will manage all benefit vendor relationships and enrollments while leading the financial, strategic, and statistical analysis involving design, development, and management of all benefit plans.  Candidates must have applied knowledge of ERISA and federal and state regulations, Form 5500 filing and ACA reporting.  Candidates must have a track record of providing excellent customer service through a team-oriented approach with a high level of integrity while meeting deadlines and responding to changing demands.  Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in either Human Resources or Business, a minimum of five years of benefits experience, and supervisory/management experience.   
 
The salary range for this position at the time of posting is $85,000 - $105,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule.  Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data.  This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.  In addition, Clark Hill offers employees the ability to participate in health insurance with optional HSA/FSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, 401K, vacation, sick time, parking/public transportation allowance, and an employee assistance program.
