Job summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-orientated Corporate Legal Administrator to join our dynamic corporate legal team, supporting the legal operations and facilitating smooth legal processes within the Falvey organization. This role will involve working on a wide range of legal matters, including but not limited to corporate contracts, claims, compliance, corporate governance, and dispute resolution. This role requires someone with a strong understanding of corporate legal practices, excellent administrative skills, and a keen interest in the insurance sector.

Problem solving skills are necessary for this position, as numerous complex scenarios will be directed to the candidate on a daily basis. Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail with the ability to handle complex legal documents and managed competing priorities.
Ability to work independently and use personal computer, calculator, company automation system and proficiency in various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and legal management software.

Hours of Operation:
This position supports our marketing efforts internationally. This position's work hours are Monday through Friday 9am - 5pm, in a hybrid work environment. Our hybrid environment is 3 days within our business-casual office environment. Of these 3 days in the office, Wednesday and Thursday are required, and employees may work from home the other 2 days. Our employees choose their schedule. This position requires occasional flexibility for working additional hours to accomplish project objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Contract & Documentation Management: Draft, review, and manage legal documents and commercial agreements, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations while maintaining accurate records.
- Claims Review and Subrogation: review and assist in the management of insurance claims, ensuring they are processed in a timely and accurate manner. Assisting subrogation processes, including the recovery of cost from third parties in accordance with applicable laws and policies.
- Regulatory & Legal Research: conduct research on relevant regulations, industry standards, and legal updates, particularly within the insurance sector, and present findings to internal teams for compliance purposes.
- Litigation and Dispute Support: assist in managing legal disputes, working with external counsel, and tracking the progress of litigation or arbitration matters when applicable.
- Stakeholder Communication & Coordination: Schedule and coordinate meetings, calls, and communications between the legal team, internal business units, and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment on legal and business initiatives.
- General Legal Support: provide administrative support to the corporate legal team by handling daily tasks such as preparing presentations, drafting memos, and assisting with special legal projects or initiatives as required. Maintain organized and secure records of legal documents, correspondence, and filings. Ensure efficient document retrieval and legal administrative processes.

Other Requirements
- A degree or diploma in law business or related fields or equivalent practical experience in a corporate legal environment
- 5 Years of experience in a legal administrative or paralegal role, preferably within a corporate environment or with exposure to the insurance industry
- An understanding of domestic and international corporate law, with a focus on compliance in the insurance sector is a plus
- Familiarity with the insurance market relations, claims review, subrogation, and management practices is preferred
