Job Description

IDIQ is seeking a highly motivated and driven Sr. Product Designer for our product development team to support the ever-growing demands of our rapidly growing business!  At IDIQ we work in a fun, fast-paced environment creating a rewarding workplace experience.  

The Sr Product Designer will work collaboratively with product, engineering, and enterprise leaders to play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our digital products and finding the best solutions to our most important challenges. Their work results in measurable improvements in user experiences throughout the IDIQ ecosystem including our various products and brands. They have a deep understanding of human-centered design and UX practices.
 

  • Partner with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders, in a continuously collaborative environment to define great experiences from discovery to delivery to iteration.
  • Visualize and prototype iterative ideas at various levels of fidelity with frequent validation and user testing.
  • Work on a range of projects, from vague to well-defined, simple to complex, implementation to innovation and drive them from concept to conclusion
  • Communicate ideas, solutions, and designs through appropriate documentation and artifacts
  • Coordinate and define user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gain deep insights into user behavior, needs, and pain points.
  • Use analytics and data to inform or drive design decisions for outcomes that engage customers
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior UX designers, fostering their professional growth and development
  • Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years UX / Interaction Design experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Strong portfolio showing examples of complex design solutions highlighting your end-to-end design process from concept including (but not limited to): research, user flows, IA, and journey mapping through development ready hand-off files.           
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
  • Strong organization and project management skills
  • Experience with responsive web design and mobile app design
  • Proficiency in animation and motion design
  • Knowledge of data-driven design and A/B testing strategies
  • Proficiency with current design and collaboration tools (Figma, Miro, etc.)
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with the ability to work closely with engineers to implement designs

Additional Information

Position Details: This is a full-time salaried position (40+ hours/week). 

Pay: The pay range for this position is a minimum of $120,000 to a maximum of $150,000 based on a full-time schedule.  The actual compensation offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This position is eligible for additional forms of compensation such as commissions or bonuses.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly communicating and conversing with members/stakeholders/management and must be able to exchange accurate information appropriately. The employee frequently is required to remain in a stationary position, occasionally move about; and constantly operate a computer or other office equipment. The employee is regularly required to push, or otherwise move up to 10-30lbs of various equipment.  Applications may include but are not limited to repetitive work operating a computer keyboard, mouse and headphones while primarily maintaining a stationary position and occasionally moving about at an assigned work desk area.
