This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced attorney to independently manage complex litigation and regulatory matters within a fast-paced and collaborative legal environment. You’ll play a strategic role in shaping case strategy, mentoring junior legal staff, and delivering top-tier legal counsel to clients navigating multifaceted challenges. If you thrive on autonomy, possess a deep knowledge of civil litigation, and are committed to continuous professional development, this role offers both responsibility and purpose. You'll also contribute to an inclusive, community-oriented firm culture that values innovation and diversity.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead discovery processes, from drafting requests to managing responses and developing witness testimony.
  • Make sound legal recommendations grounded in analysis, judgment, and client expectations.
  • Engage in negotiations with co-defendants, business adversaries, litigants, and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Mentor, supervise, and provide timely feedback to associates and paralegals, fostering growth and quality work output.
  • Ensure full compliance with billing procedures and meet minimum billable hour obligations.
  • Actively pursue mastery within chosen legal specialties and contribute to broader firm knowledge and excellence.

Requirements
  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; admitted and in good standing with the bar in all applicable jurisdictions.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in litigation or regulatory law, including trial preparation and appeals.
  • Strong command of civil procedure and a deep understanding of core legal principles in relevant practice areas.
  • Proven ability to manage complex cases independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Demonstrated skill in supervising and collaborating with junior attorneys and staff.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with legal software such as Filevine or document management systems is a plus.
  • Committed to continuous personal and professional development and high ethical standards.

Benefits
  • Competitive salary aligned with experience and role seniority
  • Opportunity to work within a nationally recognized, women-owned, diverse legal firm
  • Supportive, inclusive team culture that promotes ongoing learning and mentorship
  • Flexible work environment with a balance between independence and collaboration
  • Access to pro bono and community engagement initiatives through the firm’s outreach programs
  • Regular DEI and wellness programs that foster a progressive and people-first work environment
