Receptionist Job Details:
Utilize your excellent interpersonal skills at Snell & Wilmer, one of the largest and most prestigious law firms in the Western United States. We currently have an opening for a Receptionist in our Reno office.
If you enjoy working in a friendly, fast-paced environment, with the ability to handle day-to-day work challenges while adjusting to multiple demands and priorities, then this may be your next opportunity!
The hours for this position are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm in the office.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Answer all phone calls promptly and courteously and take accurate and complete messages.
- Greet visitors and announce their arrival by immediately notifying appropriate personnel.
- Escort or direct visitors and clients to conference rooms as appropriate.
- Monitor visitors and vendors for security purposes and understand security procedures.
- Represent the Firm’s professional image by maintaining a neat and organized appearance at the reception desk and surrounding areas.
- Oversee our conference room calendars.
- Manage all catering orders.
- Update library materials by replacing outdated editions.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Communicate clearly and professionally with all lawyers, employees and visitors.
- At least 2 years experience in customer service or a professional environment.
- Prior law firm experience preferred.
- High attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Have a professional appearance, enthusiastic attitude and clear and courteous telephone voice.
- Ability to work under pressure, respond quickly to changing demands and be self-motivated with ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must be able to solve problems effectively and creatively.
- Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word and Excel).
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professional behavior and judgment in dealing with delicate situations.
