We’re planning an annual salary of $85,000 - $115,000, plus commissions tied to case settlements and awards (an actual offer will depend on knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience).
Relocation assistance may be provided for qualified candidates outside the Denver metro area.

What You’ll Do
As a Medical Malpractice Attorney with Ramos Law, you'll be responsible for managing a caseload of complex medical negligence cases from inception through resolution. This role requires a deep understanding of medical and legal issues, strong litigation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, experts, and legal teams. The attorney will play a key role in case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
More specifically, you'll::
- Evaluate potential medical malpractice claims and determine case viability.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and memoranda.
- Manage all phases of litigation including discovery, depositions, and pre-trial preparation.
- Collaborate with medical experts to develop case theories and support litigation strategy.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Maintain accurate case files and documentation in compliance with firm standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.
- Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
What We’re Seeking
Education/Experience:
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Colorado
- 3–7 years of litigation experience in medical malpractice
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and rules of evidence
- Excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
- Trial experience or significant deposition experience
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
- Experience working with expert witnesses and complex medical records
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare systems
- Proficiency in legal case management software
