Our client, a nationally recognized, AmLaw 100 law firm, is seeking a highly skilled Associate to join their Real Estate Transactions team in Atlanta. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney with a focus on real estate law to contribute to a diverse array of development, investment, and transactional matters.
Candidate Profile:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Bar Admission in Georgia, or willingness to seek admission.
- 2+ years of meaningful experience in real estate law, including the acquisition, leasing, and development of commercial properties in a variety of asset classes.
- Experience representing national and regional investors, developers, and corporate tenants.
- A concentration and exposure in the retail/shopping center industry would be beneficial.
- Strong writing, analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, leasing, and development of properties across various asset classes such as retail, restaurant, office, mixed-use and industrial.
- Represent national retailers, private equity firms, and institutional investors in large-scale commercial real estate projects.
- Collaborate with a national team of attorneys, providing comprehensive legal services for clients across multiple industries.
- Manage legal projects efficiently, ensuring attention to detail and strategic execution of transactions.
