
This is a full-time non-exempt position assisting a partner with a busy practice.
Responsibilities include:
· document preparation and management;
· drafting correspondence and motions;
· filing documents with courts;
· opening new matters;
· calendaring;
· coordination of travel arrangements;
· preparation of expense reports; and
· other various tasks necessary to keep a busy practice moving smoothly.
The ideal candidate will have:
· at least five (5) years of experience in a fast-paced litigation practice;
· experience with Microsoft Office Suite;
· experience with court filings (including e-filing);
· excellent language and communication skills;
· strong organization skills with superior attention to detail;
· a positive attitude; and
· the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
Qualifications:
· Proficiency with computer applications (particularly Microsoft Office, Westlaw)
· Ability to work with little or no supervision
· Ability to work well with others
· Ability to recognize priorities and/or coordinate projects simultaneously
· Comply with deadlines
· Ability to remain calm under pressure
· Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
· Strong research and investigative skills

· Input billable time as per firm policy and maintain annual billable goal
