Job Description

The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland is hiring an Attorney! Legal Aid invites applications from recent law school graduates, current 3Ls, and experienced attorneys.  Legal Aid attorneys represent individual clients in a variety of legal issues that impact shelter, health/safety, and economic security.  Legal Aid anticipates hiring attorneys to fill positions focused on:

Legal Aid is expanding its Economic Justice Group by adding an attorney to focus on working with clients to build generational wealth. The attorney will represent clients in estate planning matters, so clients can ensure their assets remain in their family so that future generations have a head start on their efforts to build wealth and achieve economic mobility.  The attorney will also resolve issues of tangled titles, where family members havedied without a will and no family member has clear title to real property, preventing investment and risking loss of a family home.   Legal Aid seeks an attorney with probate and estate planning experience who is committed to Legal Aid’s goal of working with communities to build wealth.
