Position Summary:
- The Operations Coordinator oversees and coordinates day-to-day business activities within the Operations Team, supports special projects, and assists with property and facility management. This key team member streamlines workflows, facilitates communication between departments and locations, and drives operational efficiency through independent decision-making and process improvements.
Job Duties:
- Manage special projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and maintaining accountability for successful project outcomes.
- Oversee property and facility management, ensuring maintenance, compliance, and alignment with organizational standards while independently addressing issues and coordinating with external vendors or contractors as needed.
- Act as a liaison between departments to facilitate communication and information sharing.
- Coordinate logistics, including inventory tracking, delivery schedules, and vendor relationships, to ensure smooth operations.
- Identify areas for process improvement and develop procedures to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, assess performance, and provide actionable insights.
- Address operational challenges promptly, adapting to changing priorities as needed.
- Prepare reports for management, highlighting key metrics, operational trends, and recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with agency policies and regulatory requirements related to operations.
- Manage other operational activities, including legal and contract support and tasks related to the agency’s Board of Directors, to ensure operational continuity and provide redundancy for critical team functions.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
- Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in operations, facilities, project coordination or a related field.
- Experience managing facility operations or supporting cross-functional projects is preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of and ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of walking, driving, and sitting at a desk while working on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform some physical tasks related to facility management.
- Hybrid work environment (primarily in-office and in-community, with occasional remote work options when available).
- Company-issued laptop and cell phone.
- Valid driver’s license, proof of liability auto insurance, and ability to drive a personal vehicle on a regular basis for facilities management as needed.
