Job Summary:
This position will be occupied by a highly qualified and highly motivated attorney to focus on
litigation of national multi-district cases and catastrophic single event cases involving consumer
products and/or medical devices. Specifically, the attorney will be responsible for evaluating
merits of potential cases, significant client contact, and managing a sizable docket. Additional
responsibilities may include providing relevant research, drafting complex legal memorandum,
and other aspects of the discovery process. The Mass Tort Intake Attorney works as part of a
strategic team, working on the firm’s largest and most complex cases.
Essential Job Functions:
- General client intake, including daily client communication.
- Drafting claim submission and plaintiff fact sheets
- Drafting client correspondence.
- Maintaining client information databases.
- Document review and reaching out to clients for missing information.
- Order and organize medical records.
- Manage and direct an assigned team of intake specialists.
- Periodic reports and updates to senior management.
- Maintain the mass tort docket calendar
- Maintain daily organization of a high-volume docket.
- Document, organize, and prepare a file for submission.
- Additional projects, as assigned.

Education & Experience:
- JD degree from an accredited law school is required.
- Preferred to have prior legal experience handling a mass tort docket.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point).
