Compensation and Benefits:
• Base salary range starting at $42,000, commensurate with experience
• Uncapped performance-based bonus monthly, potentially ranging from $500 to $1,500

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Support at least two attorneys in a fast-paced environment, handling family cases from start to finish.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of the family court system and e-filing process.
• File documents in new and existing e-filed cases, including processing related payments.
• Draft and e-file pleadings and other legal documents as requested and proactively.
• Prepare Interrogatories, Requests for Production of Documents, and Subpoenas.
• Compile documentation, draft responses, and prepare copies for Answers to Interrogatories, Requests, and Subpoenas.
• Draft Pre-Trial Memoranda for attorney review and submit with exhibits to judges and opposing counsel.
• Work directly with clients to complete financial statements for child support, maintenance, and property division.
• Manage attorney calendars, schedule hearings and prove-ups, and reconcile electronic dockets.
• Coordinate and schedule calls with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
• Process incoming mail: scan into client files, forward to client/attorney, and coordinate next steps.
• Maintain and organize electronic and physical files.
• File attorney’s in/outbox into physical files (IL only).
• Enter and submit case expenses for reimbursement.
• Greet clients and prepare offices for in-person meetings.
• Follow up with clients regarding case updates, mail, hearing dates, and scheduling.
• Prepare documents for service, coordinate with process servers, confirm service, file Affidavits of Service, and update attorney/client.
