About the Opportunity

Our client is a modern, tech-forward immigration law firm focused on high-impact employment-based cases. The firm operates lean and growth-oriented, providing billing, administrative, and infrastructure support so attorneys can focus on delivering exceptional legal work and client outcomes.

They are seeking a Senior Associate who can operate independently, manage complex petitions, and help close sophisticated clients in partnership with firm leadership.

Position Overview

This is a high-autonomy role for an experienced employment-based immigration attorney with deep experience in:

  • EB-1 (including EB-1A)

  • EB-2

  • EB-2 NIW

  • E-2 Investor

Limited experience with O-1 and EB-3 is acceptable; exposure to additional visa categories is a plus.

The selected attorney will draft, write, file, and manage cases independently until reaching approximately 10 active matters, at which point paralegal and additional support will be assigned.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently draft and file EB-1, EB-1A, EB-2, EB-2 NIW, and E-2 petitions

  • Prepare persuasive final merits letters and supporting arguments

  • Manage client communication from consultation through filing

  • Conduct consultations and work alongside the Partner to convert vetted leads

  • Maintain organized case tracking and deadlines without administrative support initially

  • Collaborate with leadership on case strategy and client closing

  • Supervise paralegals once support is assigned

  • Leverage technology and automation tools to increase efficiency and scalability

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of employment-based immigration experience

  • Significant, hands-on experience drafting and filing:

    • EB-1 (especially EB-1A)

    • EB-2

    • EB-2 NIW

    • E-2 investor cases

  • Experience independently managing a caseload

  • Comfortable writing and filing cases without paralegal support (initially)

  • Experience conducting client consultations

  • Ability to partner with leadership to close clients

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Highly tech-savvy and comfortable using case management systems, automation tools, and AI drafting tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to O-1 and EB-3 cases

  • Experience supervising or training paralegals

  • Prior experience in a growth-stage or entrepreneurial firm environment

  • Comfort working in a performance-driven, scalable model

What Success Looks Like

  • Confidently managing up to 10 independent cases

  • Producing high-quality, well-structured petitions

  • Converting qualified consultations into retained clients

  • Leveraging technology to increase efficiency

  • Scaling into a leadership-supported model with paralegal assistance
