We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support to our attorneys as they handle a wide variety of personal injury cases, from inception to resolution.
In this role, you will be expected to:
- Assist with drafting and filing legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests
- Conduct legal research on relevant laws and regulations related to personal injury cases
- Manage case files, including organizing and maintaining case documents, evidence, and correspondence
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties to the case
- Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials
- Review and analyze medical records and other evidence to assist with case preparation and evaluation
- Work collaboratively with the legal team to develop and implement case strategies
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 3-5 years of experience working as a litigation paralegal in a personal injury law firm
- Strong communication, research, and writing skills
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- A strong commitment to client service and achieving positive outcomes for clients
- Experience with case management software, such as Needles, is a plus
- A paralegal certificate or degree in paralegal studies is preferred
