Business Transactions / Corporate Paralegal

Trenam Law is seeking a Business Transactions / Corporate Paralegal with at least two years of legal experience to join our downtown Tampa office. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting attorneys with mergers & acquisitions, securities, corporate transactions, entity organization/formation, and general corporate housekeeping. This role involves working collaboratively with other paralegals and attorneys to handle routine and sophisticated transactions in support of well-established and entrepreneurial businesses.

• Assist attorneys in preparing and  reviewing transactional documents
• Coordinate and manage closing checklists, due diligence, and other transactional processes
• Along with other paralegals, support 30 attorneys within the Business Transactions practice and assist other groups as needed
• Utilize technology tools including Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and iManage

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of relevant paralegal  experience in a law firm or in-house corporate setting
• Experience with M&A, corporate transactions, and entity formation/maintenance
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills
• Proficiency with standard office and legal technology
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of taking ownership of projects
