Working for a company that invents entire categories and industries means you’ll be challenged to creatively apply your deep legal expertise to rare and often unexplored aspects of the law. \\n\\nAs Senior Privacy Counsel you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and experienced team on privacy issues impacting Apple’s business and products globally. You will work directly with business and engineering teams to design innovative privacy solutions for products as well as across the legal department on Apple activities and regulatory issues.

Apple’s Privacy Legal Team is seeking a Senior Privacy Counsel to lead a team of attorneys supporting Apple’s privacy compliance. You will be responsible for advising and providing support on privacy related topics for Apple’s various products and services and working alongside legal, engineering and business teams. This role will be on the Privacy Legal team that supports teams working on Apple’s Wallet, Payments \u0026 Commerce initiatives, our Retail and Online Stores, and AppleCare efforts and more. You will provide strategic advice on emerging privacy laws, trends and issues. You will also lead and mentor a highly skilled team of lawyers, promoting the Legal department’s culture of high-performance and collaboration. You will work closely with incredible colleagues across the company and have opportunities to engage with the senior leadership of the company.

Knowledge of comprehensive privacy laws, and regulatory and other guidance and standards.\\nDeep understanding of US state and federal sector-specific privacy laws.\\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to advise and build relationships with senior leaders, teammates, and cross-functional colleagues.\\nAbility to clearly organize and inform through excellent written and verbal communications.\\nExperience quickly issue-spotting, analyzing, and clearly communicating privacy advice on complex legal issues.\\nStrong analytical capability with attention to detail.\\n8+ years professional legal experience advising on privacy laws.\\nAt least 4+ years experience leading and managing high-performing legal team.\\nJD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar.

Experience providing strategic and practical advice to product, business, and engineering teams.\\nExperience drafting and negotiating privacy related contracts.\\nExperience advising on regulatory compliance and inquiries.\\nAbility to lead, take action, and provide direction in the face of ambiguity.\\nAbility to get results in diverse, fast paced environments.\\nAbility to partner at all levels of the organization \\nExcellent academic credentials. \\nIn-house experience.
