Paralegal Assistant Real Estate Job Details:

Snell & Wilmer is currently seeking a full-time Paralegal Assistant to support Paralegals and Attorneys within the Real Estate practice group in the Las Vegas office. 

The hours for this position are from Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the office.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Assist with preparing closing checklists and coordinate the closing process for various commercial real estate transactions
  • Assist with preparing and distribute closing binders
  • Assist with post-closing document control and follow up
  • Assisting Paralegals and Attorneys with preparing and filing a variety of documents, including, deeds, mortgages, memoranda of leases, UCC financing statements, etc.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with attorneys, paralegals, and staff members
  • Quality checks of legal documents
  • Organize and maintain files

Experience and Qualifications:

  • A baccalaureate degree and paralegal certificate (from an ABA-accredited program) are preferred, or a combination of education and experience equivalent experience
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments while delivering consistent, quality work-product to both attorneys and clients
  • Self-starter with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with appropriate supervision and to seek help when needed
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail
