The primary responsibility of the Senior Paralegal, Corporate & Licensing, is to provide substantive and administrative support to the Legal & Compliance Department. This is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking professional who is ready and able to exercise independent judgment in maintaining the Company’s licenses and supporting corporate matters, as well as to think creatively and work well with internal and external clients.
Essential Job Responsibilities Include:
- Assist in the preparation and filing of licensing and registration documents with federal, state, and local agencies.
- Conduct thorough research on licensing requirements and regulations relevant to our industry and business operations.
- Maintain accurate records of licenses, permits, and registrations, ensuring timely renewals and compliance with applicable laws.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary documentation and information for licensing applications.
- Draft correspondence and legal documents related to licensing and registration matters.
- Monitor changes in regulations that may impact licensing requirements and communicate updates to the legal team.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to licensing and registration.
- Support the legal team in additional projects as needed.
Required Skills / Experience:
- 6 years of experience as a paralegal or working in a corporate legal setting
- 5 years of experience specific to corporate licensing and registration
- Bachelor's degree
- Accustomed to working in a team environment including participants without legal backgrounds
- Demonstrated accountability and ability to meet timelines
- Highly organized, fast learner, responsive, and client-service oriented
- Excellent communication skills, including ability to professionally compose emails and other written documentation clearly and concisely
- Proficient with MS Office

Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Paralegal certificate or other similar certification
- Experience in U.S. healthcare or pharmacy services

- Experience with Salesforce, Ironclad, and/or Jira software platforms
Based on relevant market data and other factors, the anticipated hiring range for this role is $73,600 - $85,000 annually. Final compensation rates will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, and internal equity considerations. This role is also short-term incentive eligible. Incentive amounts will vary by individual and business goals.
