Minimum qualifications:
- JD, LL.B., equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or at a law firm.
- Experience in commercial contracting.
- Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status) in the state in which the position is located.
Preferred qualifications:
- Knowledge of contract, privacy, IP, or employment law issues in a technology context.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability and enthusiasm to leverage cutting-edge developments in AI to enable smarter and more efficient work processes.
- Desire to find flexible, creative solutions to complex and difficult challenges, and work in a fast-moving environment.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $218,000-$315,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Structure, draft, and negotiate high-value, complex commercial agreements for Google’s largest and most strategic supplier relationships, including cutting-edge technology and enterprise services engagements.
- Advise business clients and leadership pragmatically on legal issues and contracting approaches impacting enterprise-wide, global operations.
- Partner closely with cross-functional experts across compliance, privacy and information security, employment, and tax to deliver unified, holistic risk management strategies on major deals.
