The Comcast internship/co-op program will help you cultivate meaningful relationships, develop strong interpersonal and business skills, gain exposure to the day-to-day operations of a Fortune 40 media and technology company, and receive mentorship opportunities to expand your professional network.
This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast’s top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.
Organization & Team Overview
The Public Policy team is responsible for developing public policy positions on issues important to the company. The Public Policy team consists of internal and external thought leaders on issues related to technology media and telecom (TMT) and serves as internal consultants to the government affairs teams.
Job Responsibilities
Intern responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Interns will research and write on a variety of policy and regulatory issues related to technology, media, and telecom (TMT).
Candidates can expect to prepare briefing memos, talking points, comment summaries, and other written material, and may have opportunities to attend conferences and other events outside of the office.
Interns will work with management to determine the impact of federal actions on the organization
Develop presentations and other written materials on findings
Act as an internal consultant to the government affairs teams
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
Applicants must be enrolled as a 2L, 3L, or 4L student pursuing a J.D. from a US-based college or university
They must also be highly motivated self-starters, well-organized, detail-orientated
Able to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to handle multiple assignments, meet tight deadlines
Ability to make decisions relying upon sound judgment.
Strong research and writing skills .
Candidates should have a demonstrated interest in technology, media and telecom (TMT) law and policy.
Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be enrolled as a 2L, 3L, or 4L student pursuing a J.D. from a US-based college or university
Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program- June 2 through August 15, 2025
Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Compensation
Base Pay: $45.00Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
