Overview
The Community Court Coordinator is responsible for the administration, coordination, and facilitation of community service hours and reporting to the court.
Essential Functions
Identifies, determines, and coordinates community service hours to be performed by various defendants upon court orders.
2 Searches for and identifies community service projects for individuals and coordinate logistics for identified projects.
3 Attends necessary court cases to provide logistics and assessments for community service projects and hours.
4 Supports and coordinates defendants service hours; provides and facilitates transportation to identified projects; supports logistics, loads and unloads tools, and provides meals and general care during service hours.
5 Monitors defendants work performed and takes photographic records; tracks and documents all service hours and reports to court and necessary parties on behalf of defendants.
6 Attends and participates in meetings and supports court officers by tracking and verifying all documented hours.
7 Performs any and all other wok as needed or assigned.
Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge of general court proceedings and community service procedures.
2 Knowledge of the principles of civil and criminal law, city ordinances, state and federal laws, established precedents and sources of legal reference.
3 Knowledge of public service projects and programs
4 Knowledge of customer service and related skills.
5 Ability to use office machines and computer software.
6 Ability to coordinate, facilitate, and participate in logistics for public service hours.
7 Ability to document and track public service hours for court presentation.
8 Ability to prepare routine correspondence and communication.
9 Communicating effectively orally and in writing.
10 Establishing and maintaining strong and effective relationships.
Experience
2 Years' of customer service, or legal work.
Licenses and Certifications
None
Education
High School Diploma, GED
