Duties Provides clinical and administrative leadership, education, and oversight to institution executive staff and health services clinical and administrative staff for issues related to pharmaceutical care. Ensure the delivery of pharmaceutical care services in accordance with the Bureau of Prisons treatment guidelines, national formulary, national policy, established standards of practice, federal law, and scopes of practice consistent with licensure. Develops and monitors the pharmacy orientation program for new institution Chief Pharmacists to ensure a working knowledge of policy and procedures related to pharmacy and medication processing and prescribing. Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution. The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and are performed on a regular and recurring basis. Salary- $105,383 - $137,000/year
