Infrastructure Cloud Technical Lead

Reporting to the Systems Infrastructure Manager and working with other Technology Managers, The Infrastructure Cloud Technical Lead will assist in the management, integration, and enhancement of the use of Microsoft 365 and Cloud technologies within the firm. The role will frequently involve educating and guiding the technology functional teams, ensuring the seamless integration of Microsoft 365 applications, and implementing best practices for security and governance across these platforms. The Technical Lead will also support the ongoing development of cloud strategies and assist leadership in the technical initiatives to optimize the firm's IT operations.

The Technical Lead will be responsible for guiding the firm's strategic transition into Hybrid Cloud and Microsoft 365 applications, including but not limited to EntraID, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, MS Teams and Intune, to enhance device management and security. This involves provisioning, configuring, and demonstrating the full capabilities of Microsoft 365 applications to manage and secure identities and devices across the firm.

The Technical Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams to showcase how Microsoft 365 and Azure solutions can streamline management, enforce compliance policies, and enhance data protection. Additionally, they will conduct workshops and provide hands-on training sessions to educate IT staff and functional teams, ensuring they are well-equipped to manage Microsoft 365 applications effectively. This role will also involve troubleshooting deployment challenges and continuously optimizing configurations to align with evolving business needs and advancements in Microsoft 365 technology.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in managing Microsoft 365 and Azure environments as well as on-prem infrastructure environments. Law firm experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in deploying and managing Microsoft 365 services (e.g., EntraID, SharePoint Online, Teams, Exchange Online, Intune, etc.).

• Proficiency in Infrastructure Architecture with a sound understanding of the frameworks and principles on which networks, systems, equipment and resources are based.
• Understanding of Project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 is preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, or equivalent preferred.
