Testek Solutions is currently seeking a Part-Time Corporate Legal Counsel

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and support on a wide range of corporate matters. This position can be performed remotely, allowing flexibility for the right candidate. Our expectation is 15-20 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal guidance on corporate governance, compliance and regulatory matters.
  • Coordinate with Contracts Manager to draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
  • Advise on mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions.
  • Manage legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Ensure the company's operations comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with external legal counsel and internal customers
  • Assist in collecting and maintaining necessary business records for acquisitions and dispositions
  • Track ongoing agreement issues such as performance bond deliverables, agent performance obligations, and royalty agreements. 
  • Stay updated on legal developments impacting the business.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active bar membership in the state of Michigan.
  • Work experience with a manufacturing company or law firm experience working with manufacturing clients would be a plus
  • Experience in the aerospace sector and/or federal contracting is a plus.
  • Remote work is ok, but a schedule of availability/dedicated hours will be required
