We are experiencing significant growth and require the assistance of a Senior Litigation Paralegal to fill a need in our Litigation Department in our New York, NY office.

Responsibilities would include but not be limited to:
  • Calendar meetings, court appearances, depositions, deadlines
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court staff and other third parties as necessary
  • E-filing for state and federal courts
  • Oversee service of process
  • Act as liaison between Litigation Department head and department associates
  • Act as liaison between Litigation Department head and attorneys in other practice areas within firm
  • Assist with legal research
  • Draft legal documents
  • Handle discovery demands and responses
  • General administrative duties; filing and scanning; assemble litigation papers; maintain matter files
  • In-person attendance to courthouses as necessary
Required:
  • Formal training and study as a paralegal ideal, minimum of 5 years experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • This position is fulltime in office Mon-Fri.
  • Strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint.
  • Experience with e-filing and in person filings; both state and federal. Must be familiar with court house procedures.
  • Ability to problem-solve procedural and calendaring problems.
Experience with Clio a plus.

Salary Rage: 75k-100K
