Duties and Responsibilities: This position is responsible for providing support to the Office of General Counsel and its staff.  Responsibilities include but not limited to: •Assisting with light secretarial duties (copying files, emailing, answering the phone, and taking done messages.) •Performing general legal research, •Assisting with activities related to the Board of Regents and its meetings, including posting meeting agendas and assisting with meeting minutes. • Providing a preliminary review of Open Records Request received by the office. • Assisting with document review and discovery request for the University’s outside counsel

Qualification and requirements:  Interest in legal research and legal writing, at least two years of college experience. Must adhere to the confidentiality policies.
