
Position Summary:
Renewa is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to support complex land transactions, title and survey review, corporate structuring, and deal closings across the company’s renewable energy acquisitions. The ideal candidate will work on high-volume transactions and support corporate legal matters related to the Company’s portfolio of assets.

Key Responsibilities:
Transaction Support & Document Preparation:
- Draft, review, and prepare real estate documents including deeds, leases, purchase and sale agreements, option agreements, easements, estoppels, subordination and non-disturbance agreements, and other land-related instruments.
- Coordinate execution and delivery of legal documents with landowners, counterparties, title companies, and outside counsel.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of transactional documents, version tracking, and final execution copies.
Due Diligence & Closing Coordination:
- Prepare due diligence checklists and coordinate all diligence-related activities with internal stakeholders, title companies, and outside counsel.
- Assist in review and analysis of title commitments, exceptions, endorsements, and surveys.
- Track and resolve title and survey issues, curative matters, and closing deliverables.
- Support entity and corporate governance documentation in connection with closings, including officer certificates, authority documents, and company resolutions.
- Assist in maintaining post-closing obligations, such as recordation tracking, title policy delivery, and escrow disbursements.
Corporate & Legal Support:
- Provide administrative and paralegal support for a wide variety of legal functions.
- Assist in managing legal workflows associated with the Company’s portfolio of assets.
- Coordinate with internal and external legal teams in support of the Company’s objectives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience handling real property transactions.
- Experience with renewable energy land transactions strongly preferred.
- Experience with REITs, title companies, energy infrastructure, or large-scale commercial real estate transactions a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program.
Skills & Attributes:
- Proficient in reading and interpreting title commitments, surveys, and legal descriptions.
- Strong knowledge of real property contracts and transaction structures.
- Meticulous attention to detail, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently under deadline.
- Comfortable handling multiple deals simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly collaborative team player who thrives in a cross-functional legal team.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel); experience with document management or contract tracking systems is a plus.
