A Day in the Life
A typical day for a Senior Estate Administration Paralegal at our firm begins with a strategic review of your key information sources: calendar, task list in the firm's case management software, and your email inbox. You'll use these resources to prioritize work and implement action plans that move client matters forward efficiently. In this role, you will take ownership of estate administration files, collaborate with legal assistants for necessary information and document preparation, review case status and future plans with attorneys, and ensure that all parties involved in an estate's administration remain informed throughout the process.
Throughout the week, you will collaborate with attorneys and fellow team members to discuss client matters and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies. As a senior member of the team, you will help ensure matters progress smoothly by maintaining organized case files, anticipating potential issues, and contributing to improvements in processes and workflows.
Your mission as a Senior Paralegal is to work closely with clients, beneficiaries, fiduciaries, and other stakeholders to keep estates moving forward toward completion. You'll meticulously produce filings, track the status of estate and trust administration matters, and provide support and clarity to executors and trustees during their time of need. This role includes a weekly billable expectation of 30-32 hours, reflecting a high level of responsibility and ownership in managing estate administration matters. We work as a team of professionals, all committed to supporting our clients' goals and each other.
Schedule and Location
Schedule: Full-time. Our office hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Alternative schedules will be considered.
Location: In-office at our Cary, NC location.
