An Am Law 100 law firm is seeking a highly qualified mid-level or senior associate with at least 4 years of experience to join the ERISA and Executive Compensation practice within its Business Law Department. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex transactions and contribute significantly to the firm’s services in executive compensation and benefits.

Job Description

The associate will be involved in:

• Representing public and private companies regarding tax and securities law issues in connection with equity-based arrangements and other types of incentive compensation plans.
• Working in teams and managing some components of transactions independently.
• Potential involvement in ERISA, employee benefits, or general employment law matters, though this is not a requirement for the position.

Job Requirements

• Experience: At least 4 years of relevant experience, with specific expertise in executive compensation and related tax and securities law issues. Additional experience in ERISA or employment law is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Skills: Excellent team collaboration and the ability to manage transaction components independently. Candidates must have outstanding academic credentials, proven experience in a comparable law firm setting, and superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Licensing: Relevant legal admission is preferred.
