Conflicts Coordinator
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Library & Conflicts Manager
Jackson Walker, Texas' largest law firm, has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for a Conflicts Coordinator in our Dallas office. Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, responsible for the day-to-day management, review, and resolution of all potential conflicts of interest issues. Observes confidentiality in all client and firm matters.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Specific duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for daily review of requests for view of conflicts on all new client and new matters.
- Searching accounting database.
- Preparation of reports.
- Distribution of firm-wide inquiries.
- Finalization of searches for appropriate attorney review.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be highly organized and able to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365, especially Word and Outlook
- Experience working with a document management system (iManage experience a plus)
- Good grammatical and writing skills
- Proficient in operation office communication equipment, including telephone consoles and copiers
- Demonstrate the ability to think critically and show initiative
- Due to the time-sensitive nature of the work, full-time attendance and the willingness to work unscheduled overtime are essential requirements for this position
- Ability to handle confidential documents and information appropriately
Education:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
Years of Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience
- Prior law firm experience preferred
Working Conditions:
- Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise and temperature.
