Position Overview SLP is seeking an experienced Fee Motion Attorney Manager to lead and oversee our fee motion practice in Los Angeles. This position offers the opportunity to manage a dedicated team of attorneys handling fee-related litigation, including drafting, supervising, and strategizing on attorney fee motions across our consumer protection caseload. This role is an excellent fit for a seasoned litigator with deep expertise in California fee-shifting statutes who is ready to step into a leadership capacity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage attorneys assigned to the fee motion team, providing day-to-day supervision, mentorship, and quality control
  • Draft, review, and argue attorney fee motions, lodestar analyses, and supporting declarations in California state courts
  • Develop and refine firm-wide fee motion strategy, templates, and best practices
  • Collaborate with trial teams to ensure timely and accurate time records are maintained throughout litigation
  • Monitor billing entries across matters for compliance with fee motion standards
  • Coordinate with senior leadership on fee recovery goals and reporting

Compensation

  • Competitive salary: $120,000 – $200,000 annually (commensurate with experience)


Requirements
  • Licensed to practice law in California (admission to the CA Bar required).
  • 3-5 years of legal experience, including relevant internships, clerkships, or law school clinics.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Commitment to consumer rights and civil litigation.
