Dinsmore is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant at our Dayton, OH location who will support multiple attorneys in connection with general corporate work, business acquisitions and securities. Responsibilities Help to manage individual attorney calendars which could include scheduling meetings, conference calls, and travel arrangements; learn departmental docketing system as necessary Open and maintain client files Provide clerical support to the attorneys and paralegals Coordinate the monthly client billing process Provide backup overflow assistance to legal administrative assistants as needed Requirements Experience with maintaining, reviewing and drafting corporate documentation, correspondence and reports Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent writing, grammar, proofreading skills, and meticulous attention to detail Excellent word processing skills and intermediate-level use of Microsoft Office Suite, .pdf editing software, and related legal software, including electronic document management systems iManage/FileSite, PowerPoint, and Outlook a plus Familiarity with basic online resources Possess strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to multi-task Proven success as a positive team player, as well as an independent worker Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment Solid work history including 3-5 years supporting multiple attorneys/paralegals Experience in transactional work Other duties as necessary
