| THE ROLE |
We are seeking a business-oriented Senior Legal Counsel to support our LATAM region and lead complex legal and regulatory contracting initiatives. This role goes beyond contract work—we are looking for candidate capable of engaging with senior management, managing cross-border legal issues, and helping shape the legal strategy for the region. |

| OPPORTUNITIES |
- You will lead complex SaaS, cloud, licensing, and services negotiations.
- You will work across the entire sales cycle end-to-end, supporting all stages from RFP/RFI responses, NDAs, through deal closure and post-signature compliance.
- You will advise Sales and Delivery teams on commercial strategy, risk, and compliance.
- You will navigate U.S. and LATAM regulatory frameworks.
- You will advise on privacy matters, including GDPR, and U.S. privacy laws.
- You will manage material disputes, litigation, arbitration, and investigations.
- You will work and manage external counsel in several jurisdictions
- You will support HR, Marketing, Finance, IT, and Procurement.
- You will deliver internal training and support legal policy development.
- You will mentor junior members and contribute to regional legal leadership.

| SKILLS |
- You should have experience: Minimum 7 years of transactional legal experience in technology transactions (software, SaaS, cloud services) or in a technology transactions practice at a law firm.
- You should have strong knowledge of privacy and data protection laws, GDPR, and global privacy frameworks.
- You should have proven ability to manage end-to-end deal cycles for technology agreements, balancing risk and business objectives.
- You should have ability to understand product offerings and provide pragmatic solutions to close deals.
- You should have strong, tactful communicator who can set boundaries while maintaining positive client relationships.
- You should have outstanding cross-functional collaboration and relationship-building skills in a multi-cultural, multi-national environment.
- You should have native proficiency in Spanish and English. Exceptional contract drafting skills in English and Spanish, with emphasis on clarity and active voice. Portuguese is a plus.
- EDUCATION & ADMISSION
- For U.S. candidates:
- JD and admission to at least one U.S. state bar.
- For Mexico City candidates:
- Licenciatura en Derecho.
- LL.M. or equivalent post-graduate legal qualification in an English speaking jurisdiction.
- WORK MODEL
- Miami: Hybrid.
- Mexico City: Hybrid.
- Some travel may be required.
