Hall & Evans is offering a great opportunity for a Medical Malpractice Paralegal to work in our Las Vegas office. The ideal candidate will have paralegal medical malpractice experience. Having a medical background is a plus.
Candidates should have excellent MS Office skills, well-developed communication abilities, effectively managing multiple projects, and strong attention to detail.
This position can offer a hybrid working schedule (3 days/office and 2 days/home) after successfully completing the training period.
- Medical Malpractice paralegal experience, required;
- Prepare medical record summaries;
- Draft pleadings, discovery, and routine correspondence;
- Experience billing time through a time software application;
- Well-developed writing and research skills;
- Ability to stay focused on numerous details while maintaining a high level of accuracy;
- Anticipating attorney’s needs, identifying problems, and finding solutions;
- Ability to organize data, both hardcopy and electronic, for easy filing and retrievability;
- Flexibility to work overtime as necessary to meet deadlines;
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. when necessary;
- Experience with legal document management systems, and;
- Medical background, preferred.
