UroGen Pharma is looking for an Associate General Counsel, Intellectual Property & Litigation. Reporting to the General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Secretary, the successful candidate will act as a key partner to senior leaders and other key stakeholders and lead and execute the Company’s intellectual-property strategy and initiatives. The role also will be responsible for litigation management, including employment disputes and protection of the Company’s innovations, know-how and other intellectual property.
- J.D. degree and bar membership in at least one U.S. state
- Degree in life sciences discipline strongly preferred; M.S. or Ph.D. in chemistry and related formulation technology preferred
- Admission to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office preferred
- 12+ years of experience protecting intellectual property in a regulated or healthcare environment preferred
- Strong judgment and ability to operate in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment
