Summer Internship - Legal Assistant Intern

A Brief Overview

This position will be located at the ASICS America corporate office in Boston, MA. Working directly within the Legal department, the Legal Assistant Intern will work on a variety of projects, including legal research into topics pertinent to the Company, contract review and negotiation, marketing, intellectual property, product development and sales.

During this internship, our interns will discover their strengths, develop their technical skills, and learn more about the environment of their future career path. ASICS interns are vital contributors to the company's vision of creating a quality lifestyle through intelligent sport technology. We are currently seeking interns to assist various departments within ASICS. These are PAID internships, 24 hours per week. The candidate is allowed to work remotely up to one day per week and is expected to be in the office on all other working days. 

Tentative 2026 Internship Dates: June 1st – August 20th 

What You'll Do

• Review and draft sales, vendor, and other contracts
• Interact with all internal teams at ASICS, including ecommerce, intellectual property, and retail operations
• Conduct Legal research into areas such as privacy, sports marketing, brand protection, compliance, sustainability, and ecommerce
• Build analytical, communication, and general legal skills
• Present to the Legal Team projects which you worked on during the program
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures
• Embodies and demonstrates company ethics and values
• Abides by all federal, state and local laws

• Demonstrated experience using Microsoft 365 Tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with great attention to detail
• Experience collaborating with others and demonstrating effective interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and accountability for results
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and engage in continuous learning

What You'll Need

• Must currently be in your second year of pursuing a law degree at an accredited institution with a graduation date of December 2026 or later

SALARY / PAY RANGE: $18.00/hr
