Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP See More Job Openings by This EmployerThe New York office of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP is looking to hire an Attorney Engagement and Event Intern to be a part of our internship program and support our Associate Engagement Manager. Willkie is an elite international law firm with approximately 1,300 lawyers across 16 offices in six countries.
The ideal candidate should be willing to commit two to three days in office on a part-time basis with a preference for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for the academic year, with the possibility of extending to summer 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in a law firm environment.
• Assist in the planning and execution of small and large events, including compiling SWAG gifts, tracking and coordinating event RSVPs, helping to draft and create invitations, organizing restaurant reservations, and helping update and maintain internal calendars.
• Some events include working with our Women’s Professional Development Committee (WPDC), practice group-specific events, and all NY personnel events.
• Help create, develop, and deliver activities, programs, and events to facilitate interaction among the attorneys and staff professionals across offices and within departments.
• Compile, draft, and produce content for Willkie360 and other outlets to promote programming and individual associate accomplishments.
• Organize SWAG and maintain event decorations, etc.
• Must have flexibility to work occasional evenings as needed for events.
• Perform additional administrative tasks as needed.
• Must be in the process of completing an associates, undergraduate degree, or similar degree.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills required.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficient in administrative functions with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to build interpersonal relationships
• Ability to sit at a desk most of the working day and walk short distances.
• Needs manual dexterity, speed and accuracy in handling office equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption.
• Ability to work in close proximity to other individuals.
• Ability to moderate objects, e.g., files, small objects and supplies a short distance.
• Must be able to lift, carry and move objects up to 25 lbs.

The salary range for this role represents the Firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications and location. This position is a part-time hourly role and benefits eligibility will be more limited. Candidates should direct questions about benefits to the hiring manager for clarification as needed.
