POSITION SUMMARY
The Business/Reporting Analyst is a strategic technical role that works closely with key business stakeholders, operational managers, cross-functional teams, subject matter experts, and external stakeholders to understand the drivers for business change and enable tasks that align with the company's strategic objectives. This technical position plays a crucial role in the successful onboarding of large mass-tort projects and other strategic technology initiatives, ensuring proper staffing, support, and adoption.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conduct business systems process analysis, needs assessments, and identify project blockers to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.
• Prepare functional and technical specifications to drive successful onboarding of new projects.
• Coordinate with product, training, documentation, and support teams to deliver comprehensive and effective implementation experiences for end-users.
• Oversee organizational change management initiatives related to technology implementations.
• Serve as a liaison between technology and business teams, ensuring effective integration of software solutions into business processes.
• Monitor and report on key metrics related to technology adoption, user satisfaction, and business impact.
• Ensure technology implementations incorporate relevant security standards and data privacy requirements.
• Build and maintain strong business relationships using various techniques such as interviews, workshops, and business process analysis.
• Evaluate information from multiple sources to reconcile conflicts and provide clearly written documentation.
• Communicate regularly with business stakeholders to manage expectations of project scope and delivery.
• Identify areas for business improvement, process optimization, and increased effectiveness.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Proven track record of successfully working on and delivering complex, high-impact technology projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of organizational change management principles and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with enterprise-level software solutions.
• Project management skills, with experience in Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Familiarity with modern software development methodologies, such as Agile and DevOps.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field or related work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in technology project management, software implementation, or related roles, with at least 2 years in a consultant role.
• Strong understanding of SQL and data analysis.
• Experience with PowerBI or Tableau and other data reporting tools.
• Experience Jira and other project management tools a plus
