Position Overview

We are seeking a well-rounded litigation associate with 2-5 years’ experience and a passion for building a practice in the Philadelphia suburbs. The ideal candidate will handle a diverse caseload, focusing heavily on civil and commercial litigation, municipal law, and land use. You will also provide general counsel to clients, supporting them in their family businesses and in contract disputes, family law, and employment issues as their needs arise.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in civil litigation, municipal law, and land use matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and legal correspondence.
• Provide general counsel to clients as needed.
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal problems.
• Appear at court hearings, depositions and municipal meetings.

Qualifications

• Active license in good standing to practice law in Pennsylvania.
• 2-5 years of experience in litigation, municipal law, or general practice preferred.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and client-relationship management skills.
• Reliable transportation to Ft. Washington, PA, court hearings and municipal meetings.
• A portable book of business is a strong plus, though a proven commitment to business development is highly valued.
