We’re looking for a Legal Collection Admin Representative to join our growing team. This associate will receive, and review information received from various sources i.e. attorneys, auto insurance carriers, the hospitals and practices, courts, record retrieval companies. In this role, you will:
Join a specialized team responsible for reviewing systems and implementing workflows established for the specific teams.
- Liability/Attorney Accounts - Review and maintains follow up on accounts attorney represented, third party liability, PIP/Med Pay. Including negotiating settlements with attorneys/insurance reps and assuring billing and medical record requests are fulfilled.
- Deceased Patient Team - Verifies Date of Death and estate information through the various websites and court systems. Close/document various systems according to established workflow.
- Admin Support Team – Supports all teams in the NACS Collection and Legal department by completing correspondence requests. Create and complete Affidavits. Scanning correspondence and enclosures to related account. Completes monthly reports as assigned by management.

Proficient in comprehending instructions, short correspondences, memos, and legal documents. Skilled in crafting clear and concise correspondence and adept at reading with proficiency. Demonstrates strong communication skills and utilizes proper grammar. Capable of efficiently navigating through various systems. Applies common sense to effectively execute written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions. Possesses the ability to resolve issues with multiple concrete variables in standardized contexts. Shows understanding and implementation of relevant federal and state laws.
Requirements you must have for success:
- High school diploma or equivalent, Associate’s degree in office administration or related field preferred.
- Three years of office administrative and clerical experience required preferably in a legal office.
- Must be polite, courteous, and accommodating to ensure good customer service is provided.
- Knowledge of office software and medical billing software.
- Must have the ability to get along with others in a close office setting.
- Must have the ability to concentrate for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing to function and cooperate as a member of a team.
Language Skills:
Ability to: read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and memos; write and present information to leadership, vendors, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Have the ability to compare rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret various graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to: deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations; plan, organize, delegate, and prioritize work; provide clear and effective direction to staff; communicate effectively orally and in writing; establish and maintain effective working relationships with MedSrv departments, vendors, other businesses, and our clients; Must be able to multi-task.
Physical Demands:
You may be required to lift between 30-50lbs at times. Limited.
