Job Description

**This Onsite Position in Billings Montana**


Job Overview:

The Legal Administrative Intern role is designed for individuals currently enrolled in undergraduate programs or recent high school graduates interested in gaining exposure to the legal field. This internship offers hands-on experience with the daily operations of a law firm, as well as opportunities to observe and learn from legal professionals. Interns will support administrative tasks, assist the legal team, and shadow legal staff and attorneys to better understand the litigation process.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assist the team with reviewing and organizing medical records.
  • Bates stamp and prepare documents for legal use.
  • Draft basic case summaries under team guidance.
  • Call clients to gather missing information or documentation.
  • Make copies, scan records, and help maintain digital case files.
  • Support data entry, document management, and other admin tasks.
  • Shadow attorneys and legal staff to observe case development and firm workflows.
  • Always maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism.

Requirements
  •  High school diploma or current undergraduate student.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator with comfort making phone calls.
  • Eagerness to learn about the legal profession and law firm operations.
  • Familiarity with basic computer programs and office tools.

Schedule & Compensation:

  • Flexible part-time or full-time schedule.
  • Paid internship; hourly rate based on experience.
