Job Description
As a member of Apple's privilege team, you will personally be supporting and delivering on established privilege strategy, both from a legal risk perspective and a technical one. You'll be working with a number of cross-functional teams and stakeholders across Apple. The position requires a high degree of self-sufficiency, independent judgment and an operational-focused approach. Travel is possible. You will operate as part of a supportive and fun team of lawyers, legal specialists and support staff who work closely together to protect Apple's interests.
- 8+ years of in-house, law firm or vendor discovery experience, including significant experience handling privilege issues arising from litigation and investigations.
- JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar.
- Strong technology interest and aptitude.
- Excellent operational, communication, analytical, organization, and negotiation skills
- Meaningful in-house or equivalent experience and experience managing privilege as well as review and analytic issues arising out of litigation and regulatory investigations in a corporate setting
- Ability to work independently and proactively to meet aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment, including managing and prioritizing deliverables with cross-functional teams
- Sound business judgment and ability to handle multiple wide-ranging matters, conflicting deadlines, while exploring new areas of expertise as business needs change
- Demonstrated ability to identify, prioritize, and resolve issues quickly and effectively in a positive and practical manner
- Interest in and ability to identify gaps, propose solutions, and take ownership of projects while balancing time, quality, cost, and risk
- Ability to foster and facilitate teamwork by cultivating relationships, collaborating, and effectively communicating with teammates and cross-functional partners in the pursuit of team goals; shares information and supports others
