RESPONSIBILITIES / JOB DUTIES:
SKILLS, ABILITIES and CAPABILITIES REQUIRED: The salary range at the time of posting is $35-$42 hourly or approximately $72K-$87K annually, based upon a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data. The Los Angeles office of Clark Hill LLP is seeking a CHART Word Processing Specialist for their evening shift to support its Administrative Resource Team. This position is responsible to perform a variety of word processing functions to produce documents that are utilized for both legal and internal Firm-related matters. The ideal candidate will be fully capable in the production of professional, error-free documents for a variety of uses within the Firm and for a diverse set of internal customers, with little to no direction.

This position is responsible to perform a variety of word processing functions to produce documents that are utilized for both legal and internal Firm-related matters. The ideal candidate will be fully capable in the production of professional, error-free documents for a variety of uses within the Firm and for a diverse set of internal customers, with little to no direction.
RESPONSIBILITIES / JOB DUTIES:
- Responsible for document production, including revisions, formatting, proofreading, utilizing dictation, etc.
- Utilizes applicable systems and search engines and other web-based resources to conduct research.
- Maintains accurate and accessible electronic and paper-based files to support backup coverage and changes in staff assignments.
- Prepares documents for e-filing as needed and according to project instructions.
- Creates various charts, graphs, and miscellaneous graphics.
- Manages and posts updates for all firm directories, events, office floor plans, organizational charts, etc. May have specific assignments in support of operational teams.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of audit letters for all offices.
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots problem documents and shares solutions and workarounds with colleagues.
- Utilizes iManage to file, store, retrieve, update and delete documents.
- Understands and delivers on the needs of the internal customers.
- Prepares weekly The Week Ahead newsletter using Microsoft Publisher.
- Train on various technology applications used across the firm as needed.
- Other duties as required.

- Highly competent in MS Office, including Publisher, iManage, Best Authority, BigHand, PDF converter, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Adobe Photoshop
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- One (1) to two (2) years of prior successful experience as an Administrative Assistant in a law firm or one (1) to two (2) years in legal word processing required.

Monday – Friday: 2:00 PM – 10:00PM (PST) – Evening Shift
