
Two-Year Paralegal Opportunity in Commercial Real Estate for Recent College Grads
Looking to jumpstart your legal career before beginning law school or looking to break into commercial real estate? We’re seeking a detail-oriented and motivated recent graduate to join Newmark’s in-house legal team as a Paralegal. This is a great opportunity to gain real-world legal experience in a fast-paced, business-driven environment.
You’ll work closely with experienced attorneys to review, draft, and help negotiate a variety of contracts—including those related to commercial real estate. You’ll build a strong foundation in commercial real estate law, learn to navigate legal documents, and collaborate with internal business teams, management, real estate brokers and external partners.
This full-time, 2–year role is designed for individuals who are considering law school and looking to gain valuable, hands-on experience beforehand. It offers exposure to in-house legal operations, commercial real estate transactions, and the opportunity to develop critical thinking, communication, and contract drafting and negotiation skills.

- A Bachelor’s degree (completed or expected by May/June 2025)
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- A strong interest in law and/or commercial real estate
- Excited about rolling up your sleeves and learning and developing new skills
- The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications
Salary: $38/hr. - $48.07/hr.
The hourly rate is between $38 and $48.00per hour, and the anticipated annual base compensation range for this position will be $79,040- $99,985.6 inclusive of required overtime
