Are you an experienced attorney looking for a challenge? Do you like helping people and fast-paced work? Want to continue providing important legal advice and support, but also get the work-life balance you desire?
We’re looking for empathetic attorneys to join our highly-skilled team of personal injury attorneys who provide quality legal advice to our clients. Our team includes attorneys from diverse backgrounds, including former insurance adjusters, plaintiffs’ attorneys with decades of experience, and others.
We offer:
- Fast-paced legal work with work-life balance.
- The opportunity to make a real difference in many peoples’ lives each day.
- Remote/hybrid/in office opportunities.
- Robust training, a collaborative environment, and stellar support staff.
- Deep resources and numerous professional growth opportunities.
- Competitive salary & benefits (such as paid family leave, and more).
What the day looks like:
No two days are the same. While your schedule and location are stable, the cases you’ll analyze are interesting and vary greatly. You will be expected to deliver high level advice to new clients and perform initial investigations into insurance coverage and liability determinations.
After a client agrees to hire our firm, you will help them get familiar with the process and answer questions they might have about their situation. You’ll have the opportunity to be a source of stability and comfort for them, as you guide them through their options, explain the next steps in their case, and ease their mind about what is happening to them in a difficult time.
In addition to this, you will likely have a manageable caseload of your own to work through. This will not only give you the ability to advise and guide our clients at the beginning of their journey but also see some of them through to resolution.
It’s a great fit for attorneys in the early stages of their legal career who are eager to learn more about personal injury and become proficient in a short period of time.
Who we are:
We’re a nationally recognized plaintiffs’ firm, and were recently voted a Best Place to Work. Our President was named one of the state’s most influential business leaders, and has been recognized for advancing diversity and inclusion in the legal profession.
Besides looking for high achievers, we’re also looking for good people. People with character, strong values, and who are good teammates. And kind. Our employees genuinely care for our clients and for each other.
Requirements:
- NC Bar licensure
- 1-3+ years of experience working as an attorney in NC, 4+ preferred.
- Experience in personal injury law is strongly preferred.
- Able to work quickly and comfortable with technology.
