The Legal Analyst will focus on project management and may also perform other duties including, but not limited to: analyze and summarize depositions, process, review, respond to subpoenas, complete peer audit of responsive subpoenas, prepare and answer interrogatories, draft procedural motions, draft routine legal briefs, perform legal research and analysis, draft research memos, and perform case and project management.
The Legal Analyst will work under the supervision of the Assistant Chief Counsel and will establish and maintain effective working relationships with State Fund attorneys, managers employees, and representatives, retained experts, past and present policyholders (as assignments require), and other business partners and stakeholders.

• Independently gathers and analyzes documents and information for case management
• Independently gathers and analyzes documents and information for case development, including but not limited to
communicating with and obtaining information from employers, witnesses, OSHA, law enforcement, and internal and external
investigators and other sources, including insurance carriers and outside counsel
• Obtains information from EAMS, SFO, CARE, TeamConnect, WCIRB and other Court and regulatory agency sources to assist
with case management and strategy
• Under the general direction of an attorney, prepares correspondence and pleadings, and other court mandated documents
• Assists in civil and administrative trial preparation
• Subpoenas and schedules witnesses for trial preparation and notifies witnesses of trial logistics
• Completes special projects and assignments, as directed by the Legal Management
• Ensures case files are kept current and maintained in an orderly fashion
• Completes all mandatory training
• Completes all required administrative documentation promptly
