The agency is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of Legal Analysis Spec 3 within the Fulton County Board of Health in the Department of Administration Services.

- Job Responsibilities
Under broad supervision, provides legal analysis services for a program, division, or department. May act as a liaison to the legal division. Assists with complex situations. May serve as lead worker.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:- Review and process Open Records requests
- Review of contracts and legal matters
- Performs job responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Serves as job expert or organization resource in assigned areas
- Assists in the contracting function
- Assists in the negotiation of conclusions to difficult, complex and/or sensitive issues
- Monitors performance of assigned contracts.
- Maintains the legal library and research to provide information
- Performs legal research and compiles data from references, digests, and law libraries
- Prepares proposed legislation for review and analysis of the impact of the changes
- Provides review and analysis of the implications of laws, policy statements, and regulations
- Research, drafts, revise and/or negotiate documents, provide support to existing programs or new programs
- Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma/GED and completion of 90 quarter hours or 60 semester hours in criminal justice or a related field and six (6) years of experience in the related area; or two (2) years of experience required at the lower level Legal Analysis Spec 2 (LEP041) or position equivalent.
Note: An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certifications that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted year-over-year.- Additional Information
