District of Maine. Note: The selectee will be stationed at either Bangor, ME or Portland, ME district office, based on their selection. The selectee of this position serves as an Administrative Officer. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and directing District administrative programs in support of the mission of the United States Marshals Service.
Duties As an Administrative Officer at the GS-0341-13 level, some of your typical work assignments may include: Principal advisor to the U.S. Marshal and the Chief Deputy for all financial and administrative policies and procedures. Ensures all operational and administrative district office expenditures are within budget and comply with published applicable Federal Accounting practices, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and USMS policy directives. Responsible for annual audits. Reviews and updates local Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and procedures in support of administrative functions as necessary. Approves and monitors procurement of operational and administrative supplies and contracts. Plans the work to be accomplished by subordinates, establishes priorities, assigns work, evaluates work performance, provides advice, counsel, and guidance to subordinates. Salary- $119,355 - $155,164/year
