Job Description

This position is also announced under Delegated Examining procedures as 26-DC-12950039-DE This Financial Analyst investigates and prosecutes various white-collar offenses. If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for providing Financial Analyst support in the U.S. Attorney's Office, located in Washington, District of Columbia, focusing in the areas of criminal law. Typical work assignments will include: Plans and coordinates financial forensic investigations encompassing a broad array of long term, complex white collar criminal offenses. Reviews, reconstructs, analyzes and summarizes voluminous financial and non-financial documents using sophisticated fraud analytical techniques and computer forensic tools. Develops financial profiles of the individuals or organizations to include history of events. Communicates with paralegals, attorneys, and management to discuss cases, update on status of cases and makes recommendations. Examines financial statements, accounting records, operating reports, billing records, invoices, data processing material and other documents related to the investigation. Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress. Salary- $102,415 - $133,142/year
